Texas Troopers Increase DWI Patrol for Holiday Season

With the holidays approaching, and with an estimated 7.7 million Texans traveling from now to the new year, Dps has added extra patrol units to target suspected Drunk drivers. Expect to see more troopers on the road, and more Dwi arrests.

The patrol enhancement is funded through a grant from DPS and is expected to run from Christmas to the new year.
